Haltronics Limited was established in October 1974 as a "one man" operation. I decided early that Haltronics Limited would become an industry leader. The growth process focused on Eastern Canada. Since 1974, Haltronics Limited has grown to become an industry leader with the capacity to serve Canada from sea to sea (4,500 miles across six time zones).

Centralized Information Management
With over thirty four years experience, Haltronics has developed a strong hub.
Sales leads are recorded at the Oakville office before being sent to the appropriate salesperson.
All sales leads are sent at the same time to all authorized distributors.
Quote and sample requests are processed by the Oakville office, where they are logged and tracked.
Fully Computerized Operations
To facilitate the volume and detail of information that flows through the company, Haltronics Limited is completely computerized. Haltronics has reaffirmed its position as a technology leader among North American Manufacturer’s Representatives.
- The office operates a Windows XP Professional network, Nexxia Router, Firewall & SpamSentinel to ensure that information is secure and stable.
- Each person in the office has a Pentium 4- 3.5Ghz + based workstation to maximize his or her productivity with live Internet access.
- Every staff member has individual Internet email.
- Each Outside Salesperson uses a Mobile Pentium 4 Wireless based laptop computer to ensure they have complete information in the field, and is equipped with a cellular phone &/or Blackberry. Customers, principals and distributors have immediate local access to the salesperson. Salesperson are also equipped with voice mail in the office & on their cellular.
- Our web site, www.haltronicsltd.com , provides instant access to our Line Card with links to all of our Principals on the Web.
- Detailed information about quote and sample follow up is transmitted from the field to the office via Internet on a daily basis.
- Empowering Systems is a Opportunity Management System, allows live transmission of Quote and Sample details between the office and the field. In addition, complete Account and Contact Management information is contained within the same system. (having 70,000 contacts and 7,000+ companies currently listed)
- Custom Sales Analysis has been implemented to track OEM, CEM & POS bookings and billings. This system became fully interactive with Empowering Systems in April 2004, allowing Haltronics’ Field Staff to see a complete picture of each customer.
As an example we had 34% of our billings were CEM (100+) in 2005, while in 2006 they are over 48% of our billings.
Regular and Timely Communication
- Haltronics has a Toll Free Line, 1-800-387-7969,for use in North America and Mexico for ease of access by
Customers, Principals and Distributors alike.
- Each salesperson has a RIM Blackberry pager for instant email and are able to respond immediately.
- Office hours are maintained from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST to accommodate the six time zones across Canada.
Office service is maintained after hours with individual voice mailboxes and an online directory.
- Weekly forecast from each area is submitted, which is reviewed by Management .
- Monthly reports are sent to all our Principals for the previous months' for Opportunites, Quotes and Samples.
